- Casual Positions with a generous package – based competitively against other regional companies at $75 – $90k/annum plus Super based on approx. 45hr week, 50+ hours is typical.
About the role:
We are looking to employ an experienced MC licensed Operator with a proven track record in the safe operation of conventional side tipper, water tanker, float, and/or, truck and dog combinations. Working as a team member and undertaking a range of tasks relating to road works, quarry haulage, bulk earthworks and site works for a variety of Clients around the Fraser Coast region
Reporting to the Operations Manager and relevant Supervisors on a wide range of projects, you will support and enhance our project processes and practices to deliver quality and productivity goals. The successful applicant will be able to follow direction and work autonomously when required, completing daily checks / services on the machinery, rectifying any concerns and accurately completing reporting processes.
You will demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility, especially around utilising and sharing available resources in a small company environment, being committed to taking accountability for all aspects of allocated tasks, priorities and timelines. This includes being physically fit to participate in manual handling or labouring activities during machine down time or supporting team members. Good communication skills, with a proven ability to trouble-shoot solutions in a calm and effective manner that drives collaboration to deliver quality outcomes and minimise risks.

To be successful in this role you need:
- Proficient operation of MC semi-trailer vehicles across a wide range of situations, that consistently delivered quality outcomes
- Demonstrate high levels of knowledge and application of machinery maintenance and care
- Ability to prioritise, plan, resource and complete tasks with limited supervision or instruction
- Adhere to and promote JACC’s high safety and environmental standards
- Be reliable, punctual and keen to work in varying environments
- Promote teamwork, share knowledge, impart skills and positively participate in on-site meetings and training
- Current MC license and white card are essential
