THE OPPORTUNITY

JAC Civil is seeking an experienced Concreter with a strong background in civil construction and structural concreting for a permanent, full-time or casual role. Join a market leader in civil infrastructure, working with major clients such as Fraser Coast Regional Council and HQ Plantations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Concreter, you will:

• Construct civil concrete structures including formwork, kerb and channel, slabs, footpaths, headwalls, and aprons
• Build to design levels and job specifications
• Read and interpret plans and drawings to deliver quality outcomes
• Operate plant and equipment as needed (holding internal competencies)
• Forecast, plan, and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision
• Use company tablets for online dockets, timesheets and daily diaries
• Work safely and contribute to JACC’s strong safety culture
• Mentor others, share experience and support the onsite team

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate III in Concreting or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ concreting or leading hand experience (civil preferred, non-mining)
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams
• Sound knowledge of formwork and finishing techniques
• Ability to meet project targets and production goals
• Current QLD driver’s licence (MR minimum)
• Construction White Card or willing to obtain
• Physically fit and able to work across various site conditions
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
