THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to employ experienced Excavator and Dozer Operators with a proven track record of efficiency and quality workmanship on a range of machines. Knowledge of civil construction methods and experience in public infrastructure construction and maintenance including road and drainage works, back-filling trenches, and working to levels and construction plans is essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to site supervisors, you will:
- Operate excavators and dozers efficiently across a variety of civil construction environments
- Follow directions and work autonomously for long periods
- Complete daily checks and maintenance on machinery as per standards
- Accurately complete mandatory documentation (daily diaries, dockets, etc.)
- Participate in manual handling or labouring tasks during machine downtime
- Communicate effectively and participate in site safety meetings
- Demonstrate resourcefulness, flexibility, and accountability for task completion
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Excavator and/or Dozer tickets with experience in Trimble Machine Control (GPS/UTS) for a minimum of three years
- Proficient in operating machinery in diverse environments to consistently deliver quality outcomes
- Additional tickets (skid steer, grader, loader) advantageous
- HR Licence preferred and ability to load/unload equipment
- Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance and care
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and complete tasks with limited supervision
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in physically demanding environments
- Team player who shares knowledge and engages positively in site meetings
