Skilled Civil Labourers with Truck Licenses
(MR or HR Tippers/Water Trucks; Semi-side tippers/Water Trucks; Truck & Dog)
About the role:
We are looking to employ experienced, licensed drivers willing to operate a range of trucks, side or end tippers, Loader, Roller, water trucks and be fit enough to labour part or full days. Working as a team member and undertaking a range of tasks relating to road works, quarry haulage, forestry road maintenance, bulk earthworks and site works for a variety of Clients around the Fraser Coast region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and relevant Supervisors on a wide range of projects, you’ll support and enhance our project processes and practices to deliver quality and productivity goals. The successful applicant will be able to follow direction and work autonomously when required, completing daily checks / services on the machinery to standards, rectifying any concerns and accurately completing reporting processes. Good communication skills, with a proven ability to trouble-shoot solutions in a calm and effective manner that drives collaboration to deliver quality outcomes and minimise risks.
Role requirements:
- Operating and supporting within civil operations environments, hauling construction resources, laying quarry materials, organising traffic areas and general labouring duties.
- Driving a range of trucks, tippers, water truck or roller in a forestry environment, constructing and maintaining roads, hauling quarry materials and creating drainage and fire break areas.

To be successful in this role you need:
- License & proficient operation of the highlighted vehicles with relevant civil experience, with a commitment to acquiring other licenses
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role, working across a wide range of situations that require consistency for delivering efficient, quality outcomes
- Demonstrate high levels of knowledge and application of machinery maintenance and care
- Ability to prioritise, plan, resource and complete tasks in the allocated time, with limited supervision or instruction
- Adhere to and promote JACC’s high safety and environmental standards
- Be reliable, punctual and keen to work in varying environments, having good levels of overall health and fitness to meet demands for daily labouring on construction sites or manual handling activities loading and unloading.
