The project extended to the intersection with Pialba-Burrum Heads Road (a state controlled road).  The length of road to be reconstructed as approximately 1150 metres  with a 100km/h sped limit. The works improved the vertical alignment of the road as well as increased pavement widths. Co-ordination of relocation of power poles.  Re-establishment of Permanent Survey Marker on redundant culverts in accordance with the Survey and Mapping Infrastructure Act.
