Located in Toolara Forest, the bridge suffered significant flood damage and was closed. During the project the site was inundated a further three times. Core samples of the existing concrete piers and abutments were taken using environmental controls, to verify their integrity. Replacement of twin span bridge with rock protection and approach roads.

• Demolition of existing bridge deck, girders and corbels
• Core through existing abutments and central pier into bedrock
• Micro piling of abutments & central pier through core holes.
• Construction of a new headstock on the central pier through use of Elevated Work Platforms
• Oversee installation of steel girders and plywood bridge deck
• Post flood damage, install additional scour protection to river banks
• Construct concrete approaches and batters
• Spray seal plywood bridge deck
• Line marking and signage to completed works
