Scope of Works:
Reconstruction of approximately 380 metres of Road between Boat Harbour Drive and Torquay Road. Urban environment interfacing with state controlled road with 8 intersections, signalised intersection, mobility corridor with high volumes of traffic. The works were split into two separable portions:
- SP1 – Watermain Renewal
- SP2 – Road Reconstruction
The Scope of works for SP1 included:
- Removal of 460m of asbestos watermain
- Watermain installation
- Property service connections
- Pressure Testing
- Commissioning
- Capping of abandoned watermain
The Scope of works for SP2 included:
- Clearing and Grubbing
- General Earthworks -cut to spoil
- Remove and replace – rock mattress
- Combi grid 30/30
- Drainage structures (Pipeline & Pits)
- Subbase pavement
- Kerb & Channel
- Base pavement
- Vehicle crossovers/driveway/footpaths/kerb ramps
- Road resurfacing (spray seal & asphalt)
